The Branch Manager Story
Branch Manager was born because we know what it feels like to look at your own land and barely recognize it. Our property was being overtaken by invasive plants, thick brush, and overgrown woods that made the forest feel unsafe, unusable, and impossible to enjoy with our family. What should have been peaceful acreage started to feel more like a tangled jungle.
That experience is what drives our work today. We help Virginia landowners reclaim their property through forestry mulching, trail cutting, fence line clearing, selective clearing, and invasive removal so they can create safer, cleaner, and more usable spaces for their families, homes, and future plans.

Hey! this is Phil, and I started Branch Manager because I’ve been exactly where you are.
When I bought my place here in Central Virginia, the "dream land" I’d imagined was buried under a mess. My fence lines were disappearing into the brush, trees were down everywhere, and I realized my family couldn't even safely walk the property we’d just worked so hard to get.

If he's not behind the controls of a forestry mulcher, you'll probably find him exploring the woods, spending time at the shooting range, or cooking up a great meal for his family. Phil enjoys working with his hands, being outdoors, and making the most of time with the people he loves.
Carla is the creative mind behind Branch Manager's marketing, branding, and social media. When she's not dreaming up new ideas for the business, you'll probably find her baking something delicious or diving into her next entrepreneurial project.
Kenai is our official Branch Manager, loyal mascot, and four-legged supervisor. His favorite things are outdoor adventures, truck rides, and keeping a close eye on the crew—unless the neighbor's cows steal his attention.
