What we clear, cut & reclaim
Overgrown hiking trails, hunting access lanes, horse paths, ATV/UTV corridors, and walking paths on private property. We cut winding trails through dense brush and maintain existing ones.
Our primary method for large-scale land clearing. One machine shreds trees, brush, and vegetation into ground-covering mulch — faster, cleaner, and less disruptive than traditional clearing or bulldozing.
Multiflora rose, autumn olive, Japanese honeysuckle, privet, wisteria — we target and clear the invasive species choking your native trees, food plots, and property access.
Got a property that hasn't been maintained in years? We specialize in land reclamation — transforming inaccessible, overgrown acreage back into usable, enjoyable, and sellable land.
Dense thickets, brambles, briars, and tangled underbrush cleared efficiently with minimal ground disturbance. Improves visibility, reduces pest habitat, and opens your land back up.
Reclaim overgrown food plots, neglected pastures, and field edges. We clear woody growth and invasive brush so your soil — and your wildlife program — can thrive again.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is trail clearing?
A: Trail cutting or trail clearing is the process of creating or reopening paths through wooded or overgrown areas using forestry mulching equipment. It allows you to safely access more of your property without removing large, healthy trees whenever possible.
What types of trails can you create?
A: We can create walking trails, ATV trails, UTV trails, hiking paths, horseback riding trails, hunting access trails, and utility access roads. We customize the width and layout based on how you plan to use your property.
How wide can you make a trail?
A: Trail widths are fully customizable to fit your needs. Most residential and recreational trails are 6 to 12 feet wide, with 6 feet being our minimum width. If you need a wider trail for ATV access, utility vehicles, or equipment, we can design a width that works best for your property and intended use.
Will you remove healthy trees?
A: Not unless you want us to. Our goal is typically to remove brush, vines, saplings, and invasive vegetation while preserving mature trees to maintain the natural beauty of your property. NOTE: We are not a tree removal service company, we can only mulch trees from 6-9 inches in diameter.
What happens to the brush and debris?
A: Our forestry mulcher grinds vegetation into mulch that is spread back onto the ground. This helps reduce erosion, suppress weeds, and return nutrients to the soil, eliminating the need to haul away debris.
Can you reopen old or overgrown trails?
A: Yes. Many of our customers already have trails that have become overgrown over the years. We can clear them and restore safe access while improving visibility and usability.
Can you build trails on steep or hilly terrain?
A: Yes. Our equipment is designed to work on slopes (up to 25% slopes) and uneven terrain that would be difficult to clear with traditional equipment. Every property is evaluated individually to ensure safe operation.
How much does trail cutting cost?
A: Pricing depends on the trail length, width, terrain, vegetation density, and accessibility. We provide fixed-price estimates after evaluating your property, so you'll know the cost before work begins. Get a quick estimate by using our Instant Pricing Calculator
